What are the requirements for sign artwork?
A good sign requires high-quality artwork. We accept several formats for sign artwork, but the original vector source file will provide the best results. Depending on the graphics program you use, the source file may have an extension that ends in .ai, .psd or .cdr. Files ending in .eps or .pdf may also contain vector information, so please send those as well, if available.
If you don’t have a source file, we may be able to use files ending in .jpg, .png, .pde or .eps – as long as certain requirements are met. These files must have a resolution of at least 150 dpi, and the file needs to be the same size as the intended outwork. In order words, if you want to create a 2’ x 4’ banner, the canvas size of the file must also be 2’ x 4’.
